Ball State Jump Rope was started in 2018 by three members of the Indy Air Bears. The team loves performing at BSU Dance Marathon and at Ball State Basketball halftime shows. Many of the members also love to compete at events like Bears Blast and the National Collegiate Jump Rope Summit, where they are able to meet and learn from collegiate jumpers across the country.
Brown Bouncing Bears have been a club at Brown for about 4 years now! The team loves jumping alongside several campus dance troupes at large student functions on campus. They are a small but mighty team!.
CU Jump Rope Club became an official club at Chapman University in October of 2020. The club began with virtual practices as a result of the pandemic, but they are excited to return to campus to jump in person. They are looking forward to continuing to jump rope together and teach the sport to future team members! You can see what they’re up to on Instagram @cujumprope.
Middlebury Jump Rope (MiddJumps) is a new club at Middlebury College, formed at the start of the 2021 spring semester. They have been steadily gaining attention on campus through outdoor, socially distant practices. In the future, they are looking forward to holding regular practices, performing at on-campus events like the winter carnival, and creating a welcoming space where everyone can learn about the wonderful sport of jump rope!
Michigan Jump Rope is a club for beginners and experienced participants in the sport of jump rope to learn new skills, exercise, and make friends!
The Jump Rope Club at The Ohio State University was started in 2013 and has been continuing on for 8 years since. The team hosted the first University Jump Rope Summit and National Collegiate Jump Rope Championship in 2017. They enjoy sharing the sport of jump rope and performing around campus. One of their favorite performances is at the annual dance marathon, BuckeyeThon.

Carolina Jump Rope was founded in 2017 by Noah Mancuso and Graham Booth. They love performing around campus, and they have gained a prominent presence at UNC! Carolina Jump Rope competes at the University Jump Rope Summit each year, and in 2020 they were proud winners of the first Collegiate Cup! A fun fact about the team is the majority of members started jumping in college!
USU Jump Rope Club has been around since the Fall of 2017. In 2020 they got third overall in the collegiate cup and they won first in participation in the NCJRA monthly challenges. Each year they get to participate in Soul Foods which is put on by the Black Student Union at USU and it is the best party and performance they could ever ask for!
WKU Jump Rope Club was created in the fall of 2017 and since then has done shows for various campus and community events and partnered with the Jumpin' Jaguars jump rope team in Bowling Green for shows and workshops. In 2018, one of the members led a week-long summer camp with kids from the International Center of Kentucky and since then they have continued to regularly teach these kids to jump rope.
LC Jump Rope is a club sport founded in 2022 at Lewis and Clark College in Portland Oregon. Their goal is to create a positive community for exercise and learning while also introducing more people to the jump rope community. Follow them on instagram @lcjumprope!
The UNL Jump Rope Club was founded in 2022 and is hoping to spread the word about their club and sport to Nebraska students! The club is focused on healthy heart awareness and is hoping to participate in Jump Rope for Heart with elementary school students and the University Summit as well. They also help out with after-school programs with surrounding elementary schools.
Bishop's University jump rope is a new organization hoping to spread the sport of jump rope to BU! They have been an official club sport for almost a year, but due to lockdown, there hasn’t been an opportunity to have much in-person activity. In the future, they hope to compete at the University Summit and participate in as many on-campus events as they can like O-Week!
CWRU Jump Rope was founded in February of 2020, thus having minimal campus presence because of COVID-19. With 3 previous competitors at Case, they hope to continue to grow and become well established in the coming semesters.
Miami Jump Rope became an official student organization in the Fall of 2018. The following fall, they became a club sport which has opened a lot of doors for the team. Along with competing at the University Summit, they have also had the opportunity to perform several shows on campus including dance marathons and family weekend events. Even in the midst of the pandemic, they have had several awesome freshmen students join the team who are really passionate about the sport!
SDSU Jump Rope is an up-and-coming jump rope club at San Diego State University! They are looking forward to having the opportunity to teach jump rope to SDSU students as they become well-established on campus. You can find them on Instagram @sdsujumprope!
Stanford Jump Rope was established in 2014 and has been nonstop jumping ever since! They love learning new tricks, and having fun at tournaments from World Jump Rope to the University Summit. On campus, they love to perform in shows they choreograph with newly created tricks. You can find their performances at dance marathons and other campus events on youtube! As a team tradition, they always make sure to end practices with a synchronized chant and team jump: “1, 2, 3 JUMP!”
Jump Rope at UCLA was started in 2020. Members of the club have been enjoying teaching each other how to jump rope! The club consists of jumpers of various levels and is constantly growing. Follow the team on Instagram for fun videos and to see what they are up to @jumpropeatucla!
Founded in 2016 by Lily Merrigan and Kristin Andrejko, Notre Dame Jump Rope is a competitive jump rope team focused on introducing new jumpers to the sport. Every member of the team came home from the 2020 University Summit with a first-place win - many of them were sporting multiple medals! They love putting on shows, especially when they can show off something new they’ve come up with. Fun fact: 22 of their 23 members didn't start jumping until they came to college!
Club Jump Rope at Virginia Tech was started back in 2018 by four long-time jumpers. Now with members of all skill levels they enjoy learning new tricks at practice, performing at on-campus events, and, of course, competing at Summit! These hopping Hokies don't need Enter Sandman to "Start Jumping!"
Yale Club Jump Rope became an official club sport in the Fall of 2019. You can find them doing Double Dutch on Cross Campus when the weather is nice, jumping in the beautiful dance rooms of Payne Whitney Gym, or (for the remainder of the pandemic) on Zoom! UConn Jump Rope Club was founded in 2022. The club practices once a week and is striving for that sense of community we all felt on our home teams, and in other activities growing up. Most of our members have never even heard of jump rope so we are a teaching team. If you have figured out a skill, pass it on to your teammates and help the club grow! Our goal is to just have a great time jumping rope!
Cal Poly jump rope club was established in spring of 2023, and is a club for people of any level of jump rope experience! As a new club we are getting more involved around campus and plan on competing next season! We practice outside all through the school year in beautiful, sunny San Luis Obispo!
